About the museum · À propos du musée

🇬🇧 Established in 1965, the Seychelles National Museum of History preserves and presents objects connected to the political, social and cultural development of the islands. The museum is housed in Victoria’s former Supreme Court building, restored and reopened as the museum in 2018.

🇫🇷 Fondé en 1965, le Musée national d’histoire des Seychelles conserve et présente des objets liés à l’évolution politique, sociale et culturelle de l’archipel. Il occupe aujourd’hui l’ancien bâtiment de la Cour suprême de Victoria, restauré et rouvert comme musée en 2018.
