The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (built in 1874 on the site of Mahé’s first church, 1851) is the main Catholic church of Seychelles and the seat of the Bishop of Victoria. Reworked several times — most notably in the 1990s — it blends colonial architecture with Creole details. In the crypt lies the tomb of the first Seychellois bishop, Félix Paul.

La Cathédrale de l’Immaculée Conception (édifiée en 1874 sur l’emplacement de la première église de Mahé, 1851) est la principale église catholique des Seychelles et le siège de l’évêque de Victoria. Restaurée à plusieurs reprises — notamment dans les années 1990 —, elle combine une architecture coloniale aux accents créoles.
