The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is the main Catholic church of Seychelles and the seat of the Bishop of Port Victoria.
The diocesan history records a first chapel in 1851. Rebuilt in 1892, it became the cathedral. Its dedication took place on 28 October 1952.
Its architecture combines colonial influences with Creole details and remains one of the most important religious landmarks in Victoria.
